I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with over 25 years experience providing psychotherapy. As a graduate of Columbia University School of Social Work I provide individual, couples, and family therapy, serving a broad spectrum of clients.
I see therapy as a collaborative partnership with my clients. I create a safe, nonjudgmental environment in which to work with each individual, helping them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing. I strongly believe it is important to tailor my therapeutic approach to the individual needs of each of my clients, rather than assuming that one treatment approach is right for everyone.
In partnering with my clients, I make use of many techniques from many different psychiatric orientations, like Dialetical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) Cognitive Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and many others.
Some of my areas of expertise include couple's therapy, depression, anxiety, stress management, improving self-esteem, relationship issues, career issues, assertiveness training, and life coaching.
My office is conveniently located in the village of Old Greenwich, Connecticut. It is less than a 5 minute drive by car from I-95 or the neighboring city of Stamford, CT. It is also easily reached by train, as the Old Greenwich Metro North train station is a little more than one block away from my office.
